21652012-04-04 14:57:09Hello, I have downloaded geopsy, compiled and installed it on ubuntu 11.10 without any pb. Congratulation for the packaging! I was just using it to visualize real time miniSeed data records through my seedlink server. It was working fine, as well as the display and the scrolling shift with time. But I didn't have any Tools in the top menu item. I tried to add some plugin using the preferences menu. The application couldn't see any plugin in the /usr/local/Geopsy.org/lib/ even if I already put some .so libs in it (libgeopsyhv.so and some others). As I still couldn't add any Tools in the Menu with the preferences, I decided to add the libs through ldconfig with /etc/ld.so.conf.d/ , but since then the application crashes just after starting. I just can see the nice Geopsy pop-up with the copyright and licence stuff, that's all, then I have this bug report pop-up window. I removed of course my ldconfig stuff that I've added, I desintalled also completely geopsy, the bin and libs. Even recompile it and reinstall it. But it's still crashing in the same way. One last thing, I also launch geopsy as sudo, just to see if it would be some right problems, but it's still crashing. Hope this will help you to fix this bug. Best regards. Jean-Charles Dudouet
