[gphistogram] Exporting curve data in terms of phase velocity
Dear Marc, I have a question regarding 'gphistogram.' When using 'add curve' in gphistogram, is it possible to get the values (i.e., mean and standard deviation) in terms of phase velocity instead of slowness, especially when using the Gaussian mixture curve? As an alternative, I tried to use a *.ma...

Bug report from gpdcreport
Dear Marc, Thank you for your efforts related to Geopsy. Recently, I'm facing a problem with using gpdcreport. Whenever I execute gpdcreport (e.g, gpdcreport ./ln3.report -best 1 > ln3.b1.model), it keeps running even after it generates the model or the phase velocity file. So, I should quit the com...

Re: Dinver parameter space (maximum velocity) issue
Dear Mark,
Thanks for your fast comment!
In terms of the number of layer, I'm using multiple layers larger like ~15 layers then it generally accepted for the first trial inversion process.
Then I reduce the layer number based on the visually constrained layers.
Best,
Youngjun Jeon

Dinver parameter space (maximum velocity) issue
Dear Marc, and all. Hello. I'm using dinver for Rayleigh wave dispersion inversion. My target sites seem to have very fast Vs half space layer >~3000 m/s at ~500m. For the first time, I set the velocity range of the half space to have 50-4000 m/s, as the other layers for a broad search. But no resul...

Dear all,
I just realized that I missed "-optimization" on the command line as well as plugin option "-i."
Thanks

Command line usage
Hello, I'm trying to run Dinver using command line. I made .target and .param files. Then I run a command as following; "dinver -j 20 -target ./trial00.target -param ./trial00.param -ns {ns} -ns0 {ns0} -nr {nr} -o ./trial00" However, it returns "dinver: bad option -target, see --help&...

How to control CPU usage
Dear Mark
Hello,
I have a question about CPU usage.
When I execute geopsy-fk, it takes all of CPU of the server.
Is there any way to control the amount of CPU to process?
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Youngjun Jeon

About non-gui usages
Dear Marc First of all, thanks for your effort in all about the S/W, Geopsy. I have a simple question. Is there any tutorial or documentation for non-GUI usages other than 'geopsy-fk' on the Documentation? It may be possible to use --help for each command, but it is still difficult to identify more ...

Re: fk parameter) 'RELATIVE_THRESHOLD (%) = '
Sorry for the late reply. And thanks for the command "-rel-power 0.9", for 90%". Here are the lines. # K_MIN (rad/m)=0.0792626 K_MAX (rad/m)=0.0535314 N_MAXIMA=1 ABSOLUTE_THRESHOLD=0 RELATIVE_THRESHOLD (%)=10 EXPORT_ALL_FK_GRIDS=n DAMPING_FACTOR=0 # The threshold written here is '10' ...

Re: fk parameter) 'RELATIVE_THRESHOLD (%) = '
Thanks for the reply.
Actually I get the identical result with both threshold 10 and 90.
I conduct an additional threshold filter at the filter menu in gphistogram to identify the dispersion.
I thought the parameter and the filter do the same job, don't they?

fk parameter) 'RELATIVE_THRESHOLD (%) = '
Dear, Marc Is it possible to derive the result of only 90% relative threshold with geopsy-fk tool? As far as I know, a parameter, RELATIVE_THRESHOLD, does the job. But, the parameter does not change any of the results. For now, to make left the result over 90%, I should fix the relative threshold wi...

Diagonal lines on results of the conventional FK
The problem that I've encountered is diagonal lines.
The lines of some results(diag-1.png : bottom left ) are negligible but some(diag-2.png) are not.
The attached text file is the parameters of the diag-2.
Thank you!

The problem was the version of gcc.
I updated the version to 8.3.1 then it worked.
Thanks.

Installation problem (centos7 / qt5.12.x)
Dear, I have a problem with installing Geopsy3.3.0. I'm using centos 7 / qt5.12.x(I tried with several qt versions, 5.11.5/5.12.9/5.12.2, etc). gcc 4.8.5 / gfortran 4.8.5. With this condition, I'm struggling with an error like below for more than a week. While 'make' ################################...
