Dear Marc,

I did some H/V rotate on my data.....Now I am finding it difficult to interpret my results.....
Please, how H/V rotate is useful for checking the one-dimensiolaty of a site...

Variations of H/V frequency (and to some extend also amplitude) versus the azimuth angle may indicate two things:
* you have a directivity in your wavefield (position of main sources, valley, slope,...)
* the local structure is not 1D

On landslides, some colleagues are using this tool and they observe constant directional features on ambient vibration and also with earthquakes data sets. At least Stephane Garambois at LGIT (Grenoble) is working on this topic for a landslide in New Zealand. Contact him for more details.
