Hi, I'm working with H/V tool and I need, please, some explanation about the fourth criterion of clarity: I can calculate the f_peak value (A_H/V +/- sigma_A) as difference between the peak frequency of the dashed curve and the peak frequency of the continue curve?

Thank you and best regards

Hi igs
no, the max curve is (aver*st.dev) and the min curve is (aver/st.dev)

I'm also working on it.
I have prepeared a spreadsheet with OpenOffice calc, but I'm still testing it

Hi Marc

thanks for developing the program, is very good, but the possibility exists that the program calculates the geometric combination of the horizontal components, besides the quadratic and the other that comes by default?

I ask this because the project SESAME recommends such combination, however, I would appreciate much any comments, I used the program but did not perform well JSesame,
regards

Walter

Under the second tab (H/V toolbox), under the section "Horizontal components" you can switch to "Total horizontal energy" which is the geometric combination of horizontal components. SESAME mostly used the "Squared average".

Hi all,
Could anybody explain how to check the IV criteria for Clear Peak with the data coming out from H/V analysis in Geopsy? Numerical example?

thank you,
vince

ciao,
I use this file to verify the criteria sesame by output geopsyhv.
The file is still in the experimental stage, advice and recommendations are welcome
