Hi,

I'm wondering if Geopsy can do the FFT only in the P-wave arrival section in one seismic trace?

The software that I currently have can do the FFT, but for the entire trace.

Hi,
You can try the Frequency-Time analysis tool provided by geopsy and based on Morlet wavelets. Given the localization in time of the P-wave arrival you can get the frequency distribution of this wave.
Another alternative is to design tapers to isolate the P-wave arrivals, and run classical FFT. The waveform console can help to define the range of the tapers based for example on a velocity law.
