Hi Marc,
I am a newbie and have just downloaded this software. I wanted to use this software for H/V calculation, but I imported the data and set the header for each data.
But I clicked the H/V tool, and nothing happened. I'd like to know how to solve this problem.

Thank you very much.

Hi Peng,

Did you try to put all three signals in a single viewer? You can use drag and drop to move signal between viewers. With a graphic, all signals are considered. With a table, you can select a subset and create a new viewer by dropping them to the viewer icon in the toolbar.

Once you have a viewer with the three components you can start H/V tool.

Best regards,

Marc

There is already a toolbox attached to your viewer (TFA). Move your signals to a fresh new viewer. Close the former one and start H/V when the new one is active.

Dear Macl,

I ended the program and started importing data again, but it still didn't work. I don't know what the problem is.

Thank you very much for your patience

Kind Regards

At the step shown by your last snapshot, what is the error message you get when you select H/V tool in waveform menu or in the toolbar?

Dear Macl,
Thank you for your answer. I find why I can not use the H/V tool. The reason is my data have different station name.

Kind Regards.

Effectively, they must have the same name and the same X, Y, Z coordinates. Sorry for not noticing it.
