QModelIndex QtbDynLineItem::index ( int row, int column, const QModelIndex & ) const
QtbDynLineItem is used by QtbDynLineLayerProperties, for dinver and a DC graph (inversion results or target?)

Able to reproduce it see bug 154
A similar problem should occur if a curve is removed from the property editor??? No because layer is read-only hence it cannot be edited (in theory): currently not removable but user can still edit values, which is likely to produce errors.
