Dear marc, bonjour, I am a newbie in geopsy and seismic processing.
I got some array data, the format is a long time period (several hours) distributed by stations, and the data collected at multiple locations (about 15 minutes for each location).
I want to divide them into data collected by points for subsequent processing and analysis, but I have not found relevant tutorials in the website documents. Can you provide relevant guidance?
Several points of these data are located in a fixed near-source interference. After the interference is over, data for comparison has been collected. I want to do some analysis of non-uniform seismic sources.
Looking forward to your reply.
How split data with geopsy?
Re: How split data with geopsy?
Hi,
In waveform menu you can cut signals between two absolute times. Then export (menu file) cut traces to another file. You can do that for all stations of the array with a single operation. It is also possible to do the same thing inside a script but it is a bit more complex.
If you have to process only H/V without any reference to coordinates, you are not forced to cut and export files. You can process directly by selecting the appropriate time range for each measurement, using the same long signal for all.
Best regards,
Marc
