Exporting files to Matlab format

Post by Tom »

Hello Admin,

I am using Geopsy 3.5.2 and wish to export my sac files to Matlab format so I can apply Hilbert transform to it, but all I get is the message "Error export file C:/data/test.mat, see log for details." However, no message is created in the log window and no matfile is created.

Please how do I go about this problem?

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for your report. I was able to reproduce the error under 3.6.00-preview. I'll try to fix it as soon as possible and I will keep you informed.

Best regards,

This is not yet implemented and left in the todo list. Geopsy can read mat files but export is not available now. The description of the format is open and clear but it takes time to implement and to debug. This is not currently in my priority list but if others are motivated, their contributions are welcome. The current implementation of MAT-file import is based upon R2013.

A message is now sent to the log saying that the export is not yet available.
Best regards,
Marc
