T10 limit

Dear Sir,

What is T10 limit? If the frequency comes within this limt(in the shadow zone), is it a reliable one ?
Please suggest.

The hashed area (T10 layer) corresponds to all frequencies with a period larger than one tenth of the selected time window length. This is one of the SESAME recommendations that the number of cycles per time windows must be greater than 10 (to avoid border effects induced by the sharp cutting of the time window and minimize the effects of the taper).
