Dear Marc,
I am new user of dinver and started with the theoretical exercise supplied in the manual. Although forward modelling gave results as expected following inversion procedures significantly differ from those in the manual. First, run inversion menu is not the same as in the manual. Second, using standard parameters the results seems to be wrong and resulting graphs as well (picture attached). Could you clarify, please, what is the problem here.
Thank you very much,
Theodora

Re: Dinver dispersion and ground profile plots
From the table listing the inversion runs, I suspect that you are using the development release. I suggest you to start with the stable or testing release which will certainly give you the same menus and the same results as in the tutorial
Re: Dinver dispersion and ground profile plots
Hi,
I download the geopsy.org package, release2.4.2, src, from download page. Is that the stable or the development release? And if it is development, where can I find the stable src?
thanks,
Theodora

Re: Dinver dispersion and ground profile plots
No 2.4.2 is the stable release
If you are running under Linux, you can run: dinver -version
To make sure that you are running the correct version. If unsure, you can post the result here.

Re: Dinver dispersion and ground profile plots
This is effectively the snapshot-development release.
Use of that release is reserved to expert users or those who want to test new features.
The stable/testing release is available here or by default when you click on "download".
