Cut curve in max2curve
In max2curve graphical interface, there are are two options to save your work: "Save" button at the bottom of the dialog box (right of "Filter") and another "Save" button in the frame dedicated to the current curve ("Save", "Remove", "Log").
The first one is probably the one you used, it saves the full histogram including the selection of samples you performed in the "Grid Statistics" window. It is another .max curve.
The second one, just save the current curve to an ASCII file (4 columns, frequency, slowness, error, weight). This is the format to input in Dinver.
