Hi Marc,
I wonder if it is possible to obtain the spectral ratio from only one horizontal component (N / V or E / V). In many works I have noticed that this option is often used to enhance the non 1D response conditions of the geological context.
I tried to load only 2 components (V and 1H) but Geopsy does not allow this operation. Is it possibly obtainable with the Structure Spectrum tool which however is active only in releases prior to 3.0.0? Or is there another solution? Or is it not possible?
Thanks a lot
Luigi
N/V or E/V it is possible to do?
Re: N/V or E/V it is possible to do?
Hi Luigi,
In the H/V options you can choose the way horizontal components are combined.
Among the possible choices, you have "directional" with an azimuth: 0 deg. is for North and 90 deg. is for East, but you are free to choose any arbitrary angle. There is also the "Rotate" tools for spectra and H/V. they are doing the same job but for all directions from 0 to 180 deg.
Cheers,
Marc
