OSX, unknown developer warning, bulk setting permissions

Post by nick_ »

Trying to run v3.3 on OSX Big Sur

I can open the main geopsy App using the control click --> open method to accept the unknown developer warning, but then I get subsequent warnings for all the backend apps.

How to I set permissions in one go so that thee warnings go away and I can use Geopsy?

Cheers!

OK, I have a solution:

In the latest versions of OSX the gatekeeper setting (Security & Privacy settings) to enable opening of apps from any source is hidden by default.

I was able to unhide this setting by running the following code

Code: Select all

sudo spctl --master-disable
