Geopsy damping

Hi Marc,
I have a dataset that we are quite unsure if the peak that we are seeing in the vertical component is of industrial origin. I have been testing this hypothesis using damping toolbox but I am not quite sure of which filter method to use - Butterworth vs Cosine taper.
I have tried using a cosine taper and it verifies that our industrial origin hypothesis, however, using a Butterworth filter gives an opposite result. I used a very narrowband frequency as suggested in the documentation here with 10 s window and fitting length.
Please let me know what you think on the ideal filter parameters. Thank you, as always
